CONWARE is an acronym of the Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation Ltd. Completely owned by the State Government, promoted by the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (A Statutory Corporation) and incorporated as a company under The Companies Act on 26th April 1995, Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation Ltd. (CONWARE) is a public sector enterprise of the Govt. to carry out diversified activities relating to warehousing with prime objective of establishing and managing CFSs and allied activities. The authorized and paid up share capital of Rs. 25 crores. The shares are 100% owned by GoP. Acknowledging the container industry’s need for competitive and quality logistics services, CONWARE came into existence to take up the activities originally meant for PSWC. To provide superior services through clear, concise and flexible methods with the objective of effectively leveraging export/import container business across the Logistics Sector in the State of Maharashtra, CONWARE was formed in 1995. CONWARE inculcate best practices across the various processes in container business and work towards bringing in efficiency in the supply chain. Headquartered in Chandigarh, CONWARE aims at bringing visibility and transparency in Logistics environment, streamline the operations across the supply chain and help in government’s plan of improving the Ease of Doing Business in the States of Maharashtra and Punjab. The objective is to provide the Export Import Container visibility service across the Western India along with comparative performance metrics for all Logistics Container Operators in Navi Mumbai and Punjab to enable the users in taking informed decisions. The flagship project of CONWARE at Nhava Sheva is an overarching solution that integrates the services and information available with various agencies across the supply chain/container logistics to provide detailed real time information and solutions within a single window.
