Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation Ltd. (‘CONWARE’) has always prided itself as being a fair and equitable company in its dealings with all the stakeholders. Hence, when the Companies Act, 2013 made CSR contributions mandatory, CONWARE decided to initiate extensive CSR contribution on the CSR Activities outline in Schedule VII of The Companies Act. CONWARE has since adopted a strong CSR agenda from year 2014-2015. At the core of CONWARE’s initiative lies a steady focus on education, preventive healthcare and environment. It also endeavors to address rural development needs and women empowerment.
To extend support to the State in its endevaour to contain and prevent the Covid pandemic gripping the State, CONWARE has contribution a sum of Rs. 1 crores to the Punjab Government Covid Fund to strengthen the State’s fight against the pandemic. During F.Y.2020-21, CONWARE contributed Rs. 50 lac towards Chief Minister Relief Fund for the noble cause.
